Or Happy New Years eve!  We had a knock out NASTY fricken blizzard yesterday.. I couldn’t see a foot in front of my face.  Feeding livestock in that was a  nightmare but I’m a get er done kinda girl ya know…  when the power went I curled up in front of the fireplace wrapped in blankets and read a good book.  Honestly it was my first “day off” in AGES.   I had forgotten how nice it is to just unplug from everyone and everything and just be in my own space with no one to answer to.

Today was kinda windy but super crisp and cold… and blindingly bright.   Snowdrifts nearly to my waist so my ass has been wet and cold half the day (wanna warm it up?)  I have begun drinking already - cheap whiskey and ginger-ale and I am debating dinner.  Maybe cold ham and beans.  I dunno, I’m pretty happy with whiskey at the moment but on an empty stomach that could be bad.

 Anyway………. Just popped in to wish you all a Happy New Year.. be safe but not so sane
