Have you started Christmas shopping yet?  I am trying hard not to think about it. as if I could block it from showing up if I don’t think about it huh?   Reality is I have already gotten my Christmas present to myself.. and she is just adorable.  Of course she is trying to figure out what the hell all that cold white stuff is, but it was worse where she came from so I did her a favor by bringing her here.

We were supposed to get snow last night, so I did all my running around yesterday.  Paid the rent, grocery shopped etc.  Wake up this morning.  No snow.  Lots of fun wind (ugh) and its colder of course.  I guess winter is determined to arrive eventually but it can wait as long as it wants as far as I am concerned.  I’m being wussy this year I know LOL  7 more months and I am over snow!  Yay Me.

So here I am with a clean house, too windy to go outside and work  and nothing but time on my hands  I even caught up on a couple weeks of WWHM.  Hmmm what is a girl to do now?  I bet you can think of something huh?  If you do, I will be hanging in the chat room or on IM.. so look me up- you know you wanna.  Hell there is even a kick ass phone sex special going on courtesy of Georgia.  How can you turn down 5 free minutes?

Halloween is going to be pretty quiet this year I think.  I really live way to far out to get trick or treaters but just far enough out to attract people looking for trouble.  I am actually thinking of getting a shot gun or something, maybe I will after I move.  Its on my tentative plans list.  As is investing in a dog breed.  Not like just getting a dog, but investing in a breed to show and well- breed.  I tend to like big dogs- Giant Breeds if you will Mastiffs, Wolfhounds, Danes etc but the investment is pretty considerable 1500 ish so I am putting it on the tentative after I move list LOL

Yeah ok.. so much for that.  I started this post 2 days ago LOL  My master plan is so good that even though I loaded the washer and added soap I uh.. forgot to turn it on, so I am sitting here in socks waiting for my jeans to wash and dry.  Man I dunno where my head is sometimes.  So me being me.. I made a list of things to do with the weekend.  Starting with cleaning out the freezer and the pantry.  I need to start stocking up with stuff for the winter since sometimes you can’t get out when you need to.  Man I am gonna be a domestic goddess this weekend *yawn*  I know huh?  So someone is just gonna have to come and rescue me from dishpan hands.

Ok my ass is cold. I need to find a blanket or something.  Catch up with me in the chat room later

heh.  ok here I was all proud of myself, only to get distracted for 2 hours and not even finish my post.  Scary man LOL   In any case my birthday was pretty good, nothing terribly exciting.  I am of the opinion that once you get to a certain age - birthdays just aren’t as exciting as they used to be.

The Erin 2008 plan is merging into Erin 2009 plan already, I am finding that my plans are shifting and morphing so I can take advantage of some opportunities that I didn’t previously have.  I have said it before.. and will prolly again, about a million times, but I want to learn to invest.  Its no secret that most of the things I do are financially driven, I have goals and dreams to achieve and those require a certain amount of financing.  2008 so far has been a big leap in achieving goals, I have accomplished far more than I thought I had and that makes me happy.  Its kind of a trip looking back at goals and then having it smack you in the face how many you have actually done without realizing it.

Anyway.. onward and upward troops…

All weekend I have been unloading feed.  We went and picked up a ton of grain yesterday and more today, man the things I do for neighbors to get help when I move LOL  I am muscle sore and need a massage I tell ya.  I miss my friend Jessica, remember the good ol days where I was getting a massage every week?  Man me too.  I need another friend in massage therapy school, and one in beauty school as well so I can get facials and stuff for a discount.  I really don’t mind being a guinea pig for my student friends, after all someone must make the supreme sacrifice right? I think maybe I will go for my birthday and get a pedicure, I haven’t done that in a while and I should probably do something nice for myself every once in a while.

In other mundane news I am getting ready for winter, figuring out and stocking up on some feed that I normally don’t use that comes in handy when its bitter cold and getting the garage cleaned out and packed up.  The trick is to set myself up so I don’t have alot  left over to move.  I’m gonna start my search for a rental soon, I am tired of waking up at 3 am worried that I wont find a place.  Yeah I am sorta a nut job that way, but it will give me a break from work anyway and let my brain recoup.

I have been at Bay City Blues almost 5 years now.  Scary isn’t it?  Who would have thought that phone sex could end up such a bit part of my life.  Funky.  Anyway yeah its a random thought… but hell.. what do you expect from me?

Anyway.. back to that day of rest thing.   Even though I know the contrast on the text may be a bit hard on the eyes, I am refusing to look at more code today, you have to wait until tomorrow for me to fix it  So there *sticks my tongue out*    

There was a whole HERD of antelope in the pasture this morning which was pretty cool, but my camera is crapping out slowly so the pics didn’t come out well. Maybe I will buy a new one for Christmas- but as I was reassembling my website I saw the post where I had plans to put away 25k before the end of the year *coughs*  yeah well THAT isn’t gonna happen.  Maybe over the next couple of years it will, since I am really trying hard not to buy anything huge outside of the laptop that is planned for my birthday, and maybe a new desktop later if I can swing it.  I have to check prices.

Why do I need both?   Well after the great computer crash of ‘08  it became glaringly apparent that I need a back up system, and this one after the repair is just not bouncing back the way I would have hoped.  So I am going to keep this as a back up emergency desktop,  the lap top for traveling and more of my other business work and then the new desktop as my main system.  See there is a logical plan.  But I still need to come up with at least 6k in savings before my move so I CAN move.  8 months.  6k.   yep.  Could be interesting LOL.  I’m gonna do some outside the box thinking on this one.

Anyway… thats all that is news today..  Its a nice day.  80ish and breezy.  Maybe I will go out and play, that is .. unless you can convince me to stay in?
